NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Rockaway Beach is currently
accepting applications for a vacancy on the City Council. Applications will be
accepted through 11:30 AM on March 1st, 2023. Potential applicants are
advised to check the City’s website for updated application material and
instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR COUNCILOR: A Person shall be eligible for an
elective office of the City, if at the time of appointment, he/she is a qualified
elector within the City for twelve continuous months immediately preceding
the appointment and remains so during the term of office to which appointed.
PROCESS: The City Council will review the applications and select the top
three applicants for interviews. Upon completion of the interviews the City
Council will appoint an applicant to fill the vacant Councilor seat.
