North Pacific Street Improvement Project
This infrastructure project will take place on N. Pacific St. between NW 3rd Ave. And NW 11th Ave., and on NW 11th Ave. between N. Pacific St. and Highway 101. The project consist of the construction of a new water main, storm drain, sanitary sewer main, and a road asphalt overlay.
- Water improvements include approximately 2,550 linear feet of 8″ C900 PVC water main, 63 water service connections, 4 new fire hydrant assemblies, and a blow off valve.
- Storm improvements include 5 new 24″ catch basins and approximately 330 linear feet of 8″ and 12″ D3034 PVC storm pipe.
- Sanitary sewer improvements include 3 new manholes, a pipe offset joint repair, and a service connection.
- Street improvements include approximately 1,600 tons of asphalt paving, including trench patching, grind and inlay, and overlay of approximately ¾ mile of roadway, including driveway and street transitions and adjusting manholes, cleanouts, and catch basins.
Project Status
November/December 2025
The majority of the underground utility work is now complete.
Our contractor, Advanced Excavation, is scheduled to install water service lines the last two weeks of November. Following the completion of the service line installation, testing of the new lines will occur. Once the lines have been tested, connections will begin taking place.
Connections are anticipated to begin the first week of December.
To connect – water service in the area will be temporarily suspended. Our contractor estimates that service disruptions will like take place over a five-day period.
