Completed Projects

PRV - Pressure Release Valve

The City of Rockaway Beach, located in Tillamook County, had received quotes for a pressure reducing valve station located on South 2nd Avenue. This is a residential area in Rockaway Beach that is currently fed from the 3rd Avenue Reservoir after being looped through downtown Rockaway Beach to the west.
This leads to inconsistent line pressure in the residential area. The installation of a pressure reducing valve (PRV) station would allow the City to feed this residential area directly from the 3rd Avenue Reservoir to the east, without the line passing through the downtown area. Rockaway Beach has completed this project and would like to share it with you.

Wayside Paving

Project consisted of 46 linear track feet within the crossing and 34 feet outside of the crossing to allow for the installation of 80-foot rail lengths to ensure the removal of rail joints in the crossing. The track was resurfaced with concrete crossing panels, and the approaches with new asphalt. Services rendered by City, Loaning of the City’s mini excavator for the length of the project, suppling road closed signage as needed, helped cleaning parking lots, and replacement of asphalt surface.
